These are adjustable assumptions, not guaranteed GSE tariffs. The value of self-consumption relates to the portion of expenditure that can actually be avoided. Charging: gross revenue from the energy allocated to the service, before costs, fees, losses and taxes. The shares must be compatible with actual use.

Cleaning makes a difference too.

The planters are accessible from ground level: the simulation assumes they can be cleaned directly by the homeowner or by staff already on site at the business or organisation, without hiring an external team.

We therefore assume 0 € in additional planter cleaning costs, in every year, even with frequent cleaning, for example 5–10 times a year. The time of people already on site is not costed separately.

For a rooftop system, however, we assume one professional cleaning visit per year: call-out, labour, roof access and equipment may incur a cost. We use the comparison’s mid-range scenario for systems from 3 to 100 kWp, to be verified at the actual site. For power ratings outside this range, savings are not calculated automatically.
