SalvaTerra outside M10’s headquarters.
In Freiburg, Germany, M10’s outdoor area hosts a SalvaTerra installation created as part of the European SPHINX project. Vertical photovoltaics become part of the workplace and a visible presence for those arriving at the business.
A business site connected to research.
The installation is documented in the public SPHINX report of October 2025. The technical update of 7 August 2026 confirms that the M10 site is connected to the grid and the data collection system, alongside the Merdingen demonstrator.
An experience worth exploring.
The project page brings together photographs of the site and explains the role of collaboration. For anyone designing an entrance, forecourt or business outdoor area, Freiburg offers a concrete example of integrating furnishings and energy.
The technical framework is documented in the public SPHINX D5.6 report, October 2025 ↗; monitoring connection update: technical communication of 7 August 2026.
