Etway participated in the General Assembly of the SPHINX project on November 27, 2024, held at the Cenacolo del Fuligno in Florence.

What is the SPHINX project?

The SPHINX project is a research and innovation project focused on the development of advanced BIPV technologies. BIPV seamlessly integrates solar power generation into buildings and infrastructure, offering a cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing way to decarbonize the built environment.

Objectives of the SPHINX project

The project is structured into six separate work packages (WPs):

• WP1: Project management and coordination: Ensures efficient project execution and collaboration among partners.

• WP2: Dissemination, communication and exploitation strategies: Focuses on effectively communicating project results and maximizing their impact.

• WP3: Integrated building and PV product development: Develop innovative BIPV products with improved functionality and aesthetics.

• WP4: Technology expansion: industrialization and automation: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficient BIPV production.

• WP5: Demonstration and Monitoring: Demonstrates the performance and reliability of BIPV systems in real-world settings.

• WP6: Environmental, Economic and Social Assessment: Assesses the environmental, economic and social impacts of BIPV technologies.
